After trauma, emotions can feel overwhelming. Some are natural—fear in danger, grief after loss, anger at betrayal. Others are manufactured, springing not from the event itself but from distorted thoughts. Both feel real, but not both are rooted in truth. CPT helps us distinguish between the two.

God has spoken a great truth. He has declared us precious in His sight. He proved our worth when He gave His Son to redeem us. Our value is not determined by what people think, or even by what we think—it is determined by the cross.
Satan loves to distort God-given traits into shameful labels. But God placed treasures in you—efficiency, confidence, motivation, compassion—and called them good. To reclaim them is not self-celebration; it’s worship of the One who designed you.
Our minds easily dwell on Satan’s lies, but Philippians 4:8 trains us to filter thoughts through God’s truth. It’s not about positive thinking—it’s about anchoring our worth in what God says is true, lovely, just, and pure.
